The lines below it say “It’s also about getting to the essence of what really matters. But I don’t wanna be lying in my death bed wishing I’d done it or at least tried harder.
On of my favorite parts has a picture of a two mice in a maze looking for a piece of cheese. Unfortanelty to hte this came off to me as a cliche.

The photos greiive illustrate the words in such a way as to often bring a smile to the reader’s face. I love this book. Reading it today, at 24 years old, I find it funny and full of simple childish charm and even simpler truths about life.

The pictures were very cute and, in combination with the texts in some places, did make me laugh. It’s a good pick-me-up book when things seem out of order. I always come back to it for its simple, happy wisdom.
I don’t need to be ashamed of myself, and I don’t need to try to stifle myself. The idea behind the book is that love is the most powerful and enduring force in the world that keeps us moving forward and “brings real meaning to our everyday lives,” not just romantic love or love of others, but a deeper love — a love of life breive.

I love this book and have read it a few times over the years; it’s sweet, imaginative, positive and inspiring. This is an amazing little book that without too many high words and pretensions phrases, unlike all those self-guides are, can really put a smile on your face and give some encouraging!
While they laugh together at the photos, it’s obvious from their ensuing conversations that they find the author’s message both encouraging and liberating. What makes Greive’s books work so well is the pairing of photos with just the right words, or is it the other way around? Even though the book talks about the positive parts in life it also includes the negative.
