Bitten to Death (Jaz Parks, #4) by Jennifer Rardin
Dec 25, Cari rated it really liked it. Her missions are to kill Samos permanently and keep Vayl at her side not that of Disa, who now gives the orders. We get vampire politics, Vayle’s complicated history, David’s shell-shock from Quite a turn-around for the series.
First we get Jaz, Vayl and David being to sent to the Trust that Vayl was once a member of, to stop a possible Samos takeover. Her partner is Vayl, a sexy vampire with plenty of secrets of his own. I’ve honestly never read a character like Jaz before and I can’t wait to continue on with the series. Increasingly through the series, Jaz herself suffered from nightmares, became more sensitive to the paranormal and, in the sixth of the novels, Bite Marks, experienced a full-blown possession.
The last thing Jaz wants is to end up on the dead side of the balance sheet Why do I have such a difficult time with you? After losing her team, along with her fiance, on the mission that changed her life almost a year and a half ago, Jaz shut down when it came to forming true relationships with people.
Paperbackpages. I give Jaz props for keeping it together as much as she does.
And explains about half of it. She died in September To ask other readers questions about Bitten to Deathplease sign up. I secretly enjoy this series.
Disappointing that Main Characters relationship haven’t really progressed, since I last read from this series bk 2. Another great read with the kick-ass, smart talking heroine Jaz Parks. It’s a tough task to create always something new and interesting, and she did it for the 4 time, so thumbs up to her imagination.
I enjoyed this book, but I did have one complaint. Watching the relationship between Jaz and Vayl develop has been one of my favorite parts of the series and in this novel Jaz and Vayl finally start to talk about having a relationship. Jun 07, The Flooze rated it liked it Shelves: View all 10 comments. Jaz has herself so worried about crushing him by telling him no, but I just don’t think it will really effect him that much in the long run.
Even though she puts up a strong front she has her moments of fear that make her feel real and relatable. This was a pretty good book.
MY BOOK, THE MOVIE: Jennifer Rardin’s “Bitten to Death”
Jaz is desperately trying to bring him back from the edge, while covering Vayl’s back as they go to investigate dangerous happenings at his old Trust, all while trying to maintain her own sanity. I very much enjoyed this book! Refresh and try again.
Four books in a Oh, Jaz Parks. Jan 07, Jessa rated it really liked it Shelves: She has attitude problems and borders on being a sociopath.
It’s especially rsrdin to Vayle, who was once a part of the trust and whom most members would like to see return.
I also missed that there weren’t as many nifty gadgets in this book; there were a few, but Bergman was mostly absent.
Jennifer Rardin obituary
Loved all the action in this book and the determination from Jaz to help Vayl really showed her love for him.
Unluckily, he has reached the end of his carefully hoarded sanity, and the mission targets suddenly don’t seem quite so realistic. Unlike many female protagonists, who secretly yearn for — and require — the aid of a strong alpha male, the spirited year-old redhead Jaz has the strength, character and training to resolve any situation she finds herself in.
Bitten to Death is the fourth book in the Jaz Parks series and I’ll admit it was probably my least favourite book so far, having said that I still enjoyed it enough to want to continue reading the series so I’m looking forward to picking up One More Bite. Just as good the second time around. Quite a turn-around for the series. I really wanted to give this 3.
