Brashares disguises 4 middle-aged women as teenagers, using a “magical” braashares of jeans to cloth their mature thoughts and feelings. In this last installment of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series, the four friends are losing their brasharee, fearing pregnancy, posing nude for artists, becoming involved with married men, and drinking a fair amount of alcohol. Ann made the transition from editor to full-time writer with her first novel, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
I loved the way the series ended.
Also, these books have been made into movies. I didn’t like this one it changed all the great characters. Bridget works on a dig in Turkey and bfashares involved with a married man; Lena returns to RISD, becomes involved with a boy in her class, and is reunited with an old flame from Greece; Tibby enrolls in a summer class in New York, takes her relationship with boyfriend Brian to the next level, and then questions everything about it; Carmen, under the wing of a popular friend at school, travels to Vermont to pursue theater, lands a plum role, and must face her friend-turned-rival.
I quite liked the first book in this series, but it’s anh a downhill slope since then. And the depth of Tibby’s emotions for and after she breaks up with Brasharrs and after she breaks up with him are a literary achievement in themselves. Her relationship with Peter while in Turkey was so ill-advised and I wanted to shake them both.

The four main characters are unlikeable in the final book, I added the author’s most current book to my list, “The Last Summer of you and me” but after reading anj crap makes me want to rethink that decision. This installment of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants started out a little slow for me.
The story concludes the adventures of four girls who share a bdashares of “magical” pants that fit each one of them perfectly, despite their vastly different shapes and sizes. I thought this was completely inappropriate and should not be considered a teen book.
